Thanks for checking out our web site. I hope you find it informative and inspiring. We have tried to make it a reflection of our church and our lives. We believe that "Life is not a journey to the grave, with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well-preserved body, but rather, to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out and loudly proclaiming - 'WOW....what a ride!" That's the kind of adventure we promise you at The LIFE Centre, as you get to know God.
The LIFE Centre is a different kind of church. We want to be REAL. We believe in R.E.A.L. Christianity. Simply put, having a relationship with Jesus Christ must change your life. It must make you live differently. Someone once said "The test of our religion is how we live because of what we believe."
At The LIFE Centre, we hope you will find REAL answers to REAL questions, are introduced to REAL people who have REAL lives just like you, and come face to face with a REAL God who loves you more than you can imagine. Check out our core values page to find out why being REAL is important to us.
At TLC, it is our goal to engage people with the timeless truths of the Bible, and to equip them as servant leaders in their journey toward Jesus Christ. To this end, we need to be fresh and flexible while challenging each other in love.

Spiritual Olympics - What it takes to be a winner
Are you an Olympics junky? C'mon, admit it... you watch as much of the Olympics every 2 years as you can. The challenge of competition, the amazing abilities of the athletes, the thrill of winning and the agony of defeat... it's all laid out for us in a 2 week spectacle. This year will be even better with the whole thing taking place on Canadian soil... how incredible!
Interestingly, the Bible often equates an athletes and sports, to the process a person goes through as they grow and mature in their relationship with God. We can't get away from the analogy that knowing God more is like being an athlete, and that it takes time and a lot of hard work to become a winner. All of the highs and lows necessary to win for an athlete are similar for winning in your relationship with God.
This series of sermons is all about journeying together through the process of what it takes to be both a winner in the field of sports, and also a spiritual winner for God. It's time that the church starts excelling in their relationship with God. It's time we start looking and acting like the winners that God knows we are.
