Thanks for checking out our web site. I hope you find it informative and inspiring. We have tried to make it a reflection of our church and our lives. We believe that "Life is not a journey to the grave, with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well-preserved body, but rather, to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out and loudly proclaiming - 'WOW....what a ride!" That's the kind of adventure we promise you at The LIFE Centre, as you get to know God.
The LIFE Centre is a different kind of church. We want to be REAL. We believe in R.E.A.L. Christianity. Simply put, having a relationship with Jesus Christ must change your life. It must make you live differently. Someone once said "The test of our religion is how we live because of what we believe."
At The LIFE Centre, we hope you will find REAL answers to REAL questions, are introduced to REAL people who have REAL lives just like you, and come face to face with a REAL God who loves you more than you can imagine. Check out our core values page to find out why being REAL is important to us.
At TLC, it is our goal to engage people with the timeless truths of the Bible, and to equip them as servant leaders in their journey toward Jesus Christ. To this end, we need to be fresh and flexible while challenging each other in love.

Adventures in MARK
I have an admission to make... I like action movies. The kind of movie that is heavy on suspense, and intrigue, but light on graphic violence and has no sex is my kind of show. I'm a sucker for the edge of my seat thrill ride that a good movie like that can take you on. It's like I am transported to the events of that story, and it becomes my reality for 90 minutes. Action movies keep my interest, they entertain me and keep me wanting more.
The Bible is full of action...some of it is far more graphic than any movie. Some of it however, merely paints a picture of progress, of action, of movement. The book of MARK is an action book. John Mark was an eyewitness to Jesus' life, and he tells about Jesus' life and ministry from an action point of view. Something is always happening in the book. People are being healed, religious leaders are being confronted by Jesus, storms are being calmed, John the Baptist gets his head cut off, and a host of other things make this book an exciting read.
Over the course of the next few months, I want to take you on a journey, an adventure through the book of MARK. I want you to understand more completely the life of Jesus, and how he acted in this world. Followers of Christ everywhere should take their cue from Jesus, and live lives that are worthy of honor.
I trust that as we work through this book together, the life of Jesus comes alive for you and you are able to re-evaluate your actions in this life, and are challenged to make your actions consistent with Christ himself.
