Can the church be relevant? That's the question we are asking our community, we believe that it can. And we are here to prove it!

We believe in being R.E.A.L. It is our desire to introduce a REAL God to REAL people and  challenge them to walk in REAL relationship with Him. This generation needs to see REAL Christians so they can experience a REAL Christ.

Relational

We value our relationships with each other and with those in our community. We believe that at the core of every person is an innate yearning to be in a balanced relationship with God and with one's fellow human beings. We will encourage that longing and nourish it, allowing it to grow naturally and in a healthy manner.

Relevant

We value a gospel message that is timeless and relevant. We believe that the church is the living, breathing voice of God to a confused and needy world. As such, the gospel message that we are committed to bringing to this world must be relevant; it must be packaged in such a way that this current generation understands and appreciates. We will do whatever it takes to bring the gospel to a lost world.

Encouraging

We value encouragement, recognizing that it builds up people. We WANT to build up people and help them to believe in themselves, and in a God who is big enough to handle their hectic and confusing lives. We believe that people who are encouraged tend to feel better about themselves, work harder for the cause they are involved in, and complain less when problems arise. All in all, encouragement makes for a healthier church.

Educable

We value an educable (teachable) heart. We believe that God wants us to be constantly learning, growing and changing. God is able to use teachable hearts that don't have everything all figured out, and haven't "arrived". To be teachable requires that we be humble, and God says that He gives grace to the humble. When I am teachable, I give God license to work out His will through me.

Abundant

We value laughter and joy. These are by-products of an abundant life. We desire to Live In Fullness Every day… to see the joy and humour in the little things, to enjoy each day as a gift, and to share that joy with those around us. To be abundant doesn't mean that we live in a dream world; rather, it means that we choose each day to see God's hand in our lives, and to rejoice in His presence in our lives.

Authentic

We value authenticity. We want to be comfortable enough with ourselves that we allow people to see the REAL us. We believe that authenticity strengthens relationships and allows people to be themselves, no matter the situation or circumstance. Jesus Christ knows everything about us and still chooses to love us and forgive us; therefore, we have nothing to hide. An expectancy of authenticity ensures that no "masks" keep us from enjoying healthy relationships with others.

Loving

We value loving others and being loved. Jesus gave us the perfect example when He loved us so much that He died in our place for our sins. We need to love others with the same commitment… unfailing love, unselfish love, not seeking for something in return. Someone once said, "If the church would love as Christ loved, the world would beat a path to its door." That's the kind of church we will endeavour to be.
